Why attend?
After years of predictability in the system for training new lawyers, the legal education landscape has changed dramatically over the last few years; the introduction of the SQE, changes to Bar and CILEX qualifications, apprenticeships, new courses and providers, qualifying work experience instead of training contracts, not to mention increasing drivers for widening participation and diversity in new entrants to the profession.
With so much uncertainty and so much choice for all stakeholders involved, this one day conference will offer the perfect opportunity for employers and training providers to take stock together and share thoughts about any action that might be needed and by whom. Speakers from across the legal education and training landscape will lead discussions on how the market is adjusting to the changes.
It will be a a diverse and reflective conference with a focus on policy and influencing.
