Course information

This conversion course is designed for non-law graduates and will prepare you for the foundation subjects that will be assessed in SQE1. The PgDL qualification is primarily used for progression to become a solicitor or barrister, but there are other opportunities. The course is not a requirement for progression onto the vocational stage - unlike its predecessor, the GDL/MA Law. To qualify as a solicitor, candidates need to pass SQE 1 & 2. The course will enable students to acquire the academic Functioning Legal Knowledge (FLK) which comprises a significant proportion of the knowledge required to pass SQE1.
