LLM Graduate Legal Studies
Course information
MMU's LLM Graduate Legal Studies, which is equivalent to the GDL, will help you to develop an understanding of the profession in the context of the evolving role and professional identity of those who work in it. We will help you start to plan your career and to identify professional behaviours and soft skills, such as creativity and adaptability, that are increasingly required in practice. You’ll learn about the role of digital and business skills in professional practice and will start to develop a professional mindset from the very beginning of the course, enhancing your employability and capacity to be a successful legal professional.

Eligibility requirements
You will need a UK/ROI honours degree – minimum 2:2 – or the international equivalent.
MMU can also accept Certificates of Academic Standing granted by the Bar Standards Board to students with honours degrees from recognised overseas universities, or mature students who do not have a degree but can show sufficient work experience.
Overseas applicants will need IELTS with an overall score of 7.0 with no less than 5.5 in any category, or an equivalent accepted English qualification

UK AND CHANNEL ISLAND STUDENTS
Full-time fee: £13,000 per year.
EU AND NON-EU INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
Full-time fee: £17,000 per year.
