Course information

On our LLM Legal Practice (LPC) you will develop the practical legal skills to prepare you for your career in law.  You will gain hands-on experience working in York St John Law Clinic, where you will provide legal advice and assistance under the supervision of experienced staff.  You will be able to tailor your qualification to study areas of personal interest through your work in clinic, selecting from a range of optional modules and researching your Legal Practice Project.  Assessments are open-book, practical and make use of computers to ensure that assessment is authentic and prepares you for the modern world of work.

Eligibility requirements

Min. 2:2 UK qualifying law degree/CPE/GDL/CILEx students with exemption from CPE.

In addition all LPC applicants must fall within the SRA's transitional arrangements.
