The College of Legal Practice offers stand-alone accredited SQE1 and SQE2 preparation courses and a full LLM in Legal Practice that includes SQE preparation. Courses are highly flexible and available full-time or part-time. Expert practitioners will guide you with one-to-one personal supervision through our one-of-a-kind online platform.

The Solicitors Legal Knowledge module will fully prepare you for SQE1. The module covers essential areas where you will learn to develop and apply core legal principles and rules in the context of 13 practice areas.

UK degree (FHEQ level 6 or above) or equivalent (inc. equivalent work experience). If English isn’t the first language, English language qualifications equivalent to IELTS at level 6.5 overall with a minimum of 6 in each component (writing, listening, speaking, reading) required.
In addition, a legal background in England and Wales (a relevant degree or work experience) is strongly advised i.e. covered at least three of the core foundation subjects of a Law degree (Criminal, Tort, Contract, Land, Trusts, Public Law, EU Law and English Legal System); if no legal background, it is recommended you complete the Graduate Foundation in Law first.
